Why a photo of myself today? Because I think lots of moms hide behind their children, especially this mom. We tend to put our own needs, successes, and selves behind theirs. Sometimes we need to show our children we’re more than the sum of their actions and accomplishments. As hard as it is, I’m working on finding a balance. Today I’m starting with a blog photo of myself. I’m putting myself out there…sort of. I’m still physically hiding behind P…and notice the sunglasses? Yep, hiding. I’ll have to work on that.
