With a nearly seven year-old and a one-and-a-half year-old to entertain on Thanksgiving day, our choices for entertainment are limited. Play dough, homemade play dough, is the perfect answer. I whipped some up this morning with Paolo. I used this fantastic recipe at Musings from a Stay at Home Mom. It’s by far the best play-dough recipe I’ve come across.
Now i’ll pack the dough, some rocks, sticks, and a handful of plastic dinosaurs and voilà! 20 minutes of entertainment. We’ll have to wing the rest of the day (but I may have a few tricks up my sleeve). How are you entertaining the kiddos today?
