Yes, it’s another Elf on the Shelf post. I intended to post something else today, but life happened and here I am writing about the Elf on the Shelf again. And let’s face it, it’s all about the elf this week.
This was P’s favorite Elf moment of 2013. He woke up to find that Elf-vis had “borrowed” my phone and taken a series of self portraits with his friends. It made us both giggle this morning and I’m the one who set it up and took pictures.
One of the things I like about the Elf on the Shelf tradition is each family can make what they want of it. When we need humor, Elf-vis is there. When we need an appropriate behavior reminder, Elf-vis is there. When need a little motivation, Elf-vis is there.
If you look carefully, I think you’ll find the elf is trying to give the Grinch bunny ears…today we needed a dose of silliness to kick off the weekend!
