After quite a long break, P finally wrote a haiku poem for the Poem Gnome:
LEGOS, LEGOS big,
And some different shapes
And size, I like them a lot.
Clearly, we’ll have to work on the 5-7-5 haiku rules! He folded up his haiku and left it for Pavel in a plastic baggie in case it rained. That rascally gnome played in the mud, made muddy footprints from the flower garden to our front door and left his note, which also had muddy footprints all over it! The next morning, P was delighted to find the gnome staring at him when he opened the door in the morning. I wonder what the Poem Gnome will do next week since we’ll be on vacation. I think it’s time the Pavel went on a road trip!
Hey it looks like your gnome celebrated mud day yesterday!
He did. Thanks to the post on Zucchini Summer!
haha, I was just thinking the same thing. 🙂
Very good P
Thanks 🙂
Ha ha-funny!
Cute! I like Legos a lot too except when my kids leave them on the floor for me to step on in the middle of the night!
This sounds like a fun game!
It is! And it’s educational. I’m sneaking in extra reading and writing over the summer 🙂
