SurvivalCraft Easter Egg Challenge

Every year I put together a fun Easter Egg Hunt for my son. Last year it was a GPS Easter egg hunt. The year before that was a Crack the Easter Code egg hunt. I like to make the boy work to find that big old basket of candy!

This year I struggled with what to do for his hunt. I saw plenty of Minecraft-themed Easter stuff on Pinterest, but my son doesn’t like Minecraft. What he does love is SurvivalCraft. So the SurvivalCraft Easter Egg Hunt was born.

First, I created a game board.

Then I wrote a letter with instructions.

Finally, I made Easter egg pieces.

Make Your Own Survival Craft Easter Egg Hunt

  1. Print and cut out the pieces. Put one in each Easter egg.
  2. Hide the eggs, inside or outside.
  3. Leave the letter and map out where you child will see it first thing Easter morning.
  4. Send him or her off to find eggs.
  5. As they find the pieces in eggs, have them tape or glue them to the game board. If they find 12 helpful items before finding three killer items (wolf, tiger, bear, and dinosaur), they get their Easter basket.
  6. If they find three killer items before 12 helpful items…give them their Easter basket anyway. It’s too early to quibble!

Happy Easter!
