This morning we updated P’s Passport to Green Bay. We’re amazed to see he’s earned nine stamps…in just two weeks. Between his grandma, the YMCA summer program, and friends (and us, of course), P has racked up the field trips. Now he’s pushing hard to make next Saturday the day we hit the beach at Whitefish Dunes. After this last, very full weekend, i’m subtly pushing for a leisurely afternoon at the Neville Public Museum’s exhibit Golden Age of video Arcade Games. Though next weekend’s field trip may just have to be learning to entertain ourselves quietly at home while mom tries to stay sane. I didn’t put that on the passport’s suggested field trips, but I should have!
Tell us!
What field trips have your kids checked off their lists so far? What ones are they really looking forward to?
Find and print passports for your kids in our Passport to Green Bay- Summer 2013 post. There’s also an option for kids not living in the Green Bay area.
I love that pic of him and Abraham Lincoln, that’s a total keeper. Visiting from the blog group.
The impersonator was impressive! Thanks for stopping by 🙂
Thats a tall Lincoln! Great photos! Visiting from blog group too.
Thanks!
I love that you do so many different activities! So far, we’ve only gone to the county fair! 🙂
Don’t worry, there’s still plenty of summer left!
What a cute idea to have a summer passport! That would make a fun scrapbook idea. 🙂 Thanks for the inspiration!
I love YOUR idea, too. I never thought to use it in our summer scrapbook. Thanks!
I love this!! We’ve had a “field trip” to a museum and still have 3 more to go to!
We’ve got a fireman’s museum on our list this year. First, we’re hitting the beach while the weather’s warm enough and it’s not snowing. 🙂
I hear ya! The snow will be flying before we know it!
