After a great weekend connecting with my son, I’m spending the morning trying to cleanup, unpack, and recover. Between hiking into the campsite and walking all over the sprawling Boy Scout camp to take part in all the activities, we walked 20 miles (thank you, pedometer!) in 36 hours. This mama is tired! Sadly, rest isn’t in my near future. How do you spring back when you’re exhausted?
Awesome! Camping is the best family activity in the world, in my opinion. I’d say get a nice cup of coffee or tea, splash your face with water, light a lively scented candle and keep moving. If I sit too long when I’m pooped, I zonk out 🙂
I love seeing pictures from Wisconsin. Looks like the fall colors are starting. As cheesehead transplants to Utah, we still consider this area the most colorful in fall. Thanks for sharing.
