Staying one step ahead our son with our Elf on the Shelf has been an adventure. I’ve been having as much fun as he has. He tells me all he wants for Christmas is to meet the real Santa Claus…or at the very least a bell from his sleigh. I can’t give him the real Santa, but I think he’s earned a bell from Santa’s sleigh. He’s worked hard on his Operation Cheer missions to spread Christmas cheer this holiday season and now Christmas Eve is coming up fast. As I wrote Elf-vis’s goodbye letter, I got sort of teary. It may be the last year he’ll believe in the Elf and Santa, but I’m hoping Elf-vis will return in 2013.
