Admittedly not my best photography, but I’m pretty happy with my solution to an ongoing problem in our house: Overfed fish. I’m fairly sure the last two fish died not because they were neglected but because they were loved too much. All three of us check up on these fish pals. Some days I think they get three healthy servings of fish food.
This week I wrote the days of the week on the front of the fish tank with dry erase marker and left the marker on top of the tank. Now when someone feeds the fish, they make a check mark with the dry erase marker. Voila!
I love that Idea. If you do this with a sharpie it will not wipe off when walking past it. Just scribble over with our dry erase marker and wipe clean when ready to erase.
A Sharpie’s a good idea, too. Thanks!
Great idea! We have a fish tank but hubby is in charge of taking care of the fishes. Maybe if we do this the kids might get to do it as well. I would prefer the side of the tank instead of the front though. 🙂
I thought of the side of the tank, but if it’s not RIGHT IN FRONT of P. he will never see it!
Brilliant! you should submit that to Family Fun magazine’s It Works for Me column. I think they pay $100 if they publish your idea!
I could use $100. I’ll have to submit it!
This is a fantastic idea. I’ve seen where people us a dry erase to make a note on the washing machine if there’s something inside that can’t go into the dryer. So clever.
Oh! I like that! I’ll have to start doing that, too.
