1. Eat where the locals eat.
Try seafood at a restaurant on the beach,
tacos at a taquería en el centro,
and cochinita at a sidewalk restaurant with paper napkins.
2. Sleep in a hammock.
3. Forget your age and go a little wild at Coco Bongo.
4. Eat pan dulce and if you have a chance to be there at the end of October, devour pan de muertos.
5. Try mayan dishes like poc chuc at Hacienda Teya or
at La Tia
6. Eat warm marquesitas in the evening while walking around the plaza.

I love this post!
Hi Terra! Wow, so sweet post and website.. great to find adventurers’ family – coming from blog commenting weekend! Totally agree on the last one.. and all other “things” are great to keep in mind. Like the website’s name too! Enjoy weekend and looking forward for the new posts

What a wonderful day in your Mexico trip. It looks like you crammed everything on your to-do list in one day. What a sweet little guy sound asleep on daddy’s shoulder. Love the beautiful photos.
