We don’t do *normal* very often, birthdays included. We ran out of traditional gift ideas years ago. Now we make or create birthday and Christmas gifts or experiences. Last month my son and I out together a stop motion birthday “card” for my husband.
It was simple. We took approximately 8749 photos like this one.
Once we had the scene set up it took about an hour to move the pieces zillions of times and take 8749 photos. My son pooped out, but I soldiered on (ha ha). We loaded them all into Movie Maker, added some music, and uploaded it to YouTube. It was a huge success. Dad loved his personalized gift and we had a blast creating it. The final product wasn’t too bad for our first try at an epic stop motion scene. We will definitely be doing this again!
