Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice…I grab the glue gun. After P lost his scout neckerchief slide for the 33rd time in two years I took matters into my own hands. Now that slide is there to stay. It’s not outside the realm of possibility that P could still lose it, but I think the odds are now in my favor.
Who decided it was a good idea to add a decorative slide (that’s sure to fall off) to active boys’ uniforms anyway? If it were up to me, the scout uniforms would be navy sweatpants with badges, pins and slides all screen-printed on. No muss no fuss…and certainly no lost neckerchief slides!
