I walked into the Dentist’s office to pick up my son and I had to smile. In his usual outside-the-box style, his coat was hanging on the coat rack Well, on the bristles of the coat rack, well above the actual hooks for coats.
Later I complimented P on his unique way of using the coat rack. He looked at me, confused, “But that’s where you hang your coats.” Bless his heart. He couldn’t see the coat hooks for the bristles.
I just could’t bring myself to make it a text free moment. Maybe next week. Baby steps.
