I Love the Rain!

It’s been raining, sleeting or snowing  for the past three days and the weathermen promise more rain and sleet today. When I saw this book I Love the Rain yesterday, I scooped it up. It turns out it’s not only a good book for this week’s weather, it’s also the perfect book to go with our Life as a Field Trip mentality. It’s all about finding the adventure wherever you find yourself. The book starts with Sophie turning her umbrella upside down. She declares,”What’s so great about being dry?”. She spends the rest of the story showing her friend all the wonderful things the rain, and her imagination, have to offer. What a great way to get through these potentially dreary, cold spring days!
