Did you know there’s such a thing as Star Wars Origami? My son discovered it at the YMCA Summer Program yesterday and he’s been furiously folding ever since. He went to bed folding and he woke up folding. It sounds like he and his friends are folding as many origami characters as they can for todays epic origami battle. Oh, do I wish I could be a fly on the wall!
I had no idea, but there’s even a book called Star Wars Origami. It shouldn’t surprise me. We already own the Star Wars Craft Book.
There are about 25 origami storm troopers, piles of scrap paper, and dozens of markers scattered all over our family room. I’m just thrilled he’s discovered a new activity that will travel well on our upcoming road trip to Colorado!
